I wanted Donaldson but for 23 mil when the Angels only have 30 to spend that's too much.

All deals are going to be expensive this off-season until you get into the dregs of late January / early February.

The one odd thing about Johan Camargo is his power spike. He hit 19 HR last season with the Braves after only hitting just 15 in 1,915 minor league at bats.

Yeah I would love for that to happen, but he’s 24 with 6 years of club control and just hit 19 homers as a rookie, also this is a 1 year deal for Donaldson.

That is a huge jump.    It can happen, though.   Jose Ramirez didn't hit many minor league HRs either (13 in 1,383 at bats), and yet he's hit 68 HRs in his past 1,163 MLB at bats.

Yeah but they also have their top position prospect in Austin Riley who is a 3B and just finished up '18 in AAA.

Send them Skaggs, Calhoun, and Bedrosian for Camargo and an MLB-ready SP prospect with a mid/back rotation projection. 

Use the $15m saved for pitching. Go cheap at RF or sign Markakis, Jones, Brantley, or hope Adell is ready midseason.

I would have been fine with him for 1 year.  Still I don’t mind the Angels missing out on him.
