Still laugh at people who said Monson was the key to Gonzaga's Elite Eight run in 1999.

Dude hasn't done jack after leaving Gonzaga (two NCAAT appearances in some 19 seasons at Minnesota and LB). 

Few was an asst there that year, and is the one that built that program from the ground.   If Monson was still coaching there after 1999, and Few left for elsewhere, they would likely be at UOP's level in the WCC by now.

Norman Dale Monson is a dinosaur.   Dude was a college football player, who thinks one coaches football like they do basketball.

Does anyone else even run the Flex offense anymore?   Dude can't coach defense either.

it's really amazing that he's been allowed to coach there for so damn long. constantly relying on transfers is a dumb way to build a winner, especially when there are so many good HS players in the SoCal area.

do you have any idea how much he makes?
