In our house only my youngest son and I like brussel sprouts and he moved out. I'm the lone guy so making them is a solitary craving. We've generally kept it simple with basic seasonings. Not so sure about adding a sweet element but I just happened to buy some sprouts yesterday so I might as well try it.

I usually just toss with olive oil and lemon pepper. Honey and chipotle just doesn't sound brussel sproutish

No, it doesn't and I keep it olive oil, S&P, garlic. But what the hell.

My wife really likes brussels sprouts and will occasionally make them.  I'll eat them, but they're not my favorite.

This recipe sounds good since I think the sweet will contrast the bitterness that sprouts typically have.

I've done bacon spouts but I've trying to cut back on fats.

That's what we did this past week. The lady and I like brussel sprouts and have them in our dinner rotation for veggies. If we want to go quick and easy we just cut them in quarters then sauté them in butter and garlic salt. We will tweak this every now and then, usually with different spices.

A couple days ago we cooked up bacon and then sautéed them in the bacon grease. I feel like we also threw in almond shavings or some kind of seed for texture. Crumbled the bacon and mixed it in. It was damn good.

About once a week we will sauté bacon and some veggie like asparagus in bacon and it always comes out solid. Easy to do, as well.

Bought a whole stalk and have had them the past 2 nights. I use bacon drippings (not much, a couple of spoonfulls, enough to coat the baking sheet) garlic seasoning, and balsamic vinegar .  Roll them around in it and bake.

Horsecrap is what BJs serves. They burn the living hell out of the sprouts every time. I got brussel burnt ash with with a crappy mayo sauce. Horrible.

I knew I was missing something. Balsamic vinegar with the bacon is fantastic with brussel sprouts.
