That's only a 2 1/2 week window until voting day so while there's nothing she can do that's cutting it close.  Do they only allow people to choose to vote by mail at that time of the year in Nevada?  My wife signed up online to vote by mail two years ago when I started getting voter guides for the 2016 election which was probably 5-6 weeks before the actual election.  She had her confirmation in the mail a few weeks later and received her absentee ballot when I received mine.

I'm making an assumption here.  But you are surprised something your wife did through the post office did not have the desired result?  Her application is probably right next to about 20 pipe bombs that didn't get delivered.

ABC News is now projecting Joe Donnelly has lost his Senate seat in Indiana to Republican challenger Mike Braun.

That's a surprise because the polls showed Donnelly with a pretty decent lead.

A pickup for the GOP.

Cruz has narrowed the gap with Beto and they're practically tied.
