I always thought that the playoffs really can't change someone's free agent outlook.  Then the 2018 playoff happened.  Grandal's numbers probably dropped a little with a series of poor defensive games (he was fine during the year, not sure what happened), and Eovaldi, before the playoffs he was probably a 2/25 type of player I think.  Now.  I think his can ask 4/60 and get it.

Sure helped Daniel Murphy get his contract a few years back.

And Carlos Beltran's 2004 run - then he put up a 1.557 OPS in the postseason for Houston, and the Mets gave him a $117m contract.

Prior to that post-season, I had some fantasy of signing him to play CF - him and Vlad in the same lineup could've been a thing ....

Failing to sign beltran was a huge mistake for this team. Same as beltre.
