Deceased cat gets voter registration application in mail

Ron Tims said he checked his mail Wednesday and found a voter registration application addressed to Cody Tims — his cat, who died 12 years ago.

Wait till Ron Tims finds out that his cat who died 12 years ago voted Stein 4 years ago.

There were 4 cases of voter fraud in the 2016 election. Not nearly a big enough problem when Hillary still won by 3 million votes.

Nope, Republicans do it all the time.

4 cases is “all the time”?

The 4 cases were related to voting ballots, but there are a ton of other examples of voting fraud:

Like the 2000 election when the cons stopped the Florida results to get Bush elected. And how does a guy like Brian Kemp who oversees the votes in his own election for Governor and ends up squeaking through with a victory?

What about the Gerrymandering in Wisconsin and other red states?

I skipped the  bullet points this time. You're welcome.

Good, we agree voter fraud is a problem

There's a huge difference between voter fraud and election fraud.  Voter fraud is a microscopic problem that has no actual impact on elections (unless they're decided by a few votes).  Election fraud is what Trump and the republicans are focused on, from Russian intervention to hackable voting machines, to closing polling stations in minority areas to curtailing voting by mail, to voter intimidation and gerryamndering (yes, I know democrats do that too, but they aren't nearly as good at it).  Election fraud is a huge problem and it's what Trump and his enablers are banking on to win the election and stay out of jail.

Hope that clears it up for you.

There is a whole lot of presentation going on on this subject.  Buy into whatever you want to buy into.

But the bottom line is it is pretty damn hard to argue one simple point.  If you are a legal voter, and you care enough to vote and want your vote to count. . . then you can vote and have your vote counted.

It is almost impossible to stop a legal voter from voting and having their vote counted.

The rest is just the typical “whip people into an angry frenzy” so that they actually come out to vote stuff.

The problem is, voting isn't equally accessible for everyone in this country. If you live in the suburbs, voting is extremely easy. If you live in an urban or rural area, your closest voting location may be hours away. If you don't have a car, it could take an entire day to vote. Not many people can afford an entire day off work so they can go vote.

Thank you.  Thank you for explaining that the core complaint is voting could be easier for some than others?

I literally don’t care.  If you want to vote, and you are a legal voter, you can vote.  That’s really what matters.

And the sob story examples of how hard it is to vote for some people all sound the same.  Sounds like they care more about complaining and making excuses for not voting than voting.

I still haven’t heard a single legit story of a legal voter who wants to vote who was prevented from voting.

Its bullshit.

Then you didn't click on either of the links I literally provided for you. If you decide to have zero empathy for people, that's your choice.

It's the conservative choice.

Did YOU read the first link?  OMG I thought it was an SNL skit for making up ridiculous reasons not to vote.  There was literally nothing that said there was an voter suppression.  Just a bunch of whining that had nothing to do with it being actually difficult to vote.

Not knowing who to vote for is voter suppression?

Not being sure your vote will matter is voter suppression?

Having to look up where to vote is voter suppression?

Being demotivated because politics is stressful is voter suppression?

Really????
