i like absentee voting and would like to keep it. i appreciate that i have to request a ballot. clearly, there needs to be absolute, 100% guarantee that all mailed in ballots will be handled properly and counted.

i'm highly suspect of anything that is so partisanly supported (this time by dems) and opposed (this time by cons).

california is trying to send out ballots to all voters who are registered whether they request them or not. looks like the feds are going to sue to stop this from happening.

Exactly! There is no need to change the current system we have. Everyone has had plenty of time to make that request

Looks like ballots that were mailed to voters that were never filled out. The article has a broken link when it alleges California "vote harvesting."

Bottom line is Republicans hate anything that can potentially increase voter turn out because Democrats are lazy pieces of shit who will only vote if you make it super easy and hold their hand through the whole process.
