Bregman whines, "Does Tiger tee off at 8am?!!"

Except he is so stupid that he is arguing against himself.  Tiger is no where near the best golfer in the world, but he tees off at peak times for viewers because he is more popular, and more people care about what he does than other players.

People care more about Tiger than other players.

People care more about the Yankees and the Red Sox than other teams (like the Astros).

So he is making a point against his own complaint.

PGA ranking for the first round determines Tiger is one of the career highest money winners and most championships and tees off later in the day. After Thursday he tees off in relation to his scorecard from the previous day. The Yankees and the Red Sox have the Astros beat by 30 World Series titles. They Tee off later.

PGA tournaments, with rare exception, go Thursday-Sunday.  I don't know how Thursday's draws are determined, but you will tee off on friday in reverse order of your time on Thursday.  If you teed off first on Thursday, you will tee off last on Friday.  If you tee off second on Thursday, you tee off second from last on Friday.  It's to give everyone a theoretical fair chance if conditions change from morning to afternoon at the event.

Saturday and Sunday, the players tee off in relation to their scorecard total from the previous rounds.  Lowest score tees off last.

I am sure if the Angels were the defending WS champs, and had to play all day games while the Yanks and Sox play prime time, everyone here would be completely on board with it.

I can say with 100% certainty I would 100% understand with a scheduling of Yankees/Red Sox in prime time over the Angels postseason game.

Most Tournaments use a blind draw for Thursday tee times. You are 100% correct on the other days.
