I will say the way the dems have handled this is completely different than how they handled the Kavanaugh one.

There are some pretty big differences.

For one, he is not up for a lifetime appointment, and he is asking for additional investigation.  Kavanaugh on the other hand is against it.

With that said, Ellison should take a leave of absence until the investigation is over.  If he doesn't then he isn't really serious about what he said.
