This actually ties the mark for the most runs ever given up by an Angel team. It happened to Scioscia in his first year at the helm. It was another end-of-season game. Sept 30, 2000.

But in that 3-game series, we only gave up 29  runs total.

This has got to be the record. 38 runs given up in 25 innings.

Believe we are currently positioned for the 12th pick, going by overall record. About the best we could hope for is the 8th pick. But we would have to lose six games in the standings to Toronto and there are three other teams between us.
