Although he was able to walk off the field on his own after hitting a double, Fletcher will not accompany the Angels on their trip to Oakland on Monday.

Might as well take a look at Rengifo.  Why is  it that he’s not up again ? He doesn’t have to be placed on the 40 man roster or something ?

I would rather have JMF get a long look at 1B over Marte and call up Rengifo for 2B. There's no reason we should be playing the likes of Marte, Cowart or any other guys that have no future with this team IMO.

I imagine he's getting a breather from having played his longest season...and while he does need to be added to the 40, I believe we are currently full, and have a ton of other 40-man moves to make this offseason. Jumping back into it after having been off for two weeks may not be beneficial. 

Everyone that's on the 60-day DL will need to be added back onto the 40, and then Eppler will have to sort through the Almonte/McGuire/Despaigne/Morris/Paredes/Cole/Noe/Tazawa pitching depth and determine who is getting axed too...so it may be best to leave the 40--man flexibility until last moment to add Suarez, Rengifo, Walsh, etc.

At this point, whatever. This has just been a terrible season other than Trout, Ohtani, and a couple others maybe. Time for it to end and move on to the offseason and try to get better.

Yeah, 100% agreed.   It sucks for Fletcher, but his role is secure.  Lets see where Renigfo is and give JMF the at bats at 1B.

Just finally answer the question that Cowart can't hit, let him start the last 12 games.   Then, assuming still not hitting, tell him that they will only consider keeping him in the org if he converts to pitching.

He's part of the "a couple others" umbrella. You're right I probably should have mentioned him by name.

The point is there have been pretty few positives to take away from this season. It's been a combination of bad luck and poor decisions that have led to a boring season.

umm...what are we going to find out in these last 12 games that hasn't been glaringly obvious for years? At this point Kaleb's best bet is to learn to catch and become the wise old career minor league vet hooking up with Susan Sarandon...maybe he can make it to the show as a manager

I was just there in August. I love the place. Great seats behind home plate on Stubhub for 30-40 bucks against the Astros. On a weekend.

Place was rockin'. Anything but a mausoleum.
