Barria couldn't get through 3 and Cole had to go 4 last night. Cole was scheduled for tonight. That's not mismanaging. That's managing.

Better to have Cole pitch later on, he sucked in the two games where he pitched the first inning plus back in July.   Otherwise, he has been unhittable since being called up earlier this year.

I  was going to also remind AZ that the Angels rotation has had regular bullpen games for a couple of months at least. It comes with 18 starters used and a record bullpen roster.of nearly 40 different pitchers.
