Florence is what we should call the 2018 Angels season.  Offseason starts off as nothing.  Then we get Ohtani and get to cat 5.  In the end, the season is a dud and will eventually be a tropical storm.

we were watching GMA this morning and one hero lady who stayed behind to help people made her case that not everyone has the ability to leave due to lack of transportation, money, nowhere to go to, etc. She was pretty steamed at media types who had been critical of those who wouldn't leave.

and the GMA hosts picked right up on that and agreed with her.

i'd think if there was a mandatory evac order in place, there would be gov't services available to help those who needed it. No?
