Not sure if I took a dump in it, but me and some poker players were meandering around the City Center in Vegas (Aria, Cosmo, etc.) and because of the booze fest and breaking the seal we stopped in some random bathroom in the Mandarin there. One of the dopest bathrooms I've ever been in.

I used to work next to the Marriott in Irvine and because of the size of the company, our bathroom was akin to a seventh grade PE classes and just disgusting. I'd always walk over there and it was beyond clean, had a good scent, and they have the soap scrub salts there next to the sink. Good spot to relax, drop the kids off at the pool, and play solitaire.

TBN Headquarters, Costa Mesa.

You've been to TBN? My dad was there once, and said it was quite an, erm, interesting place.

It is an obscene place.  When I think of all the money that was spent on upgrading that place, all the money just on lighting the outside alone could have fronted several charities I know of for a year each.  Plus what they spend on electricity.  It is disgusting.  I used to get cranky every time I drove by that place at night.

One of my all-time favorite hotels - the Mandarin Oriental! That's one of the top luxury hotels in the world, one of only six in the US to hold five diamond and triple five-star. Wild that it was just sold to Waldorf Astoria group, I think it's re-opening soon. The restaurant there Twist is f*cking awesome. Killer spa too, but no casino.

The best part was on the upper Tea Lounge level (killer view), there is a champagne vending machine. For I think $25 or $50 you get a token and you take it to the machine and it kicks out a little bottle of Veuve. So fun.

Strangest bathroom....Rented a vacation home on Kauai earlier in the year. Walking around the side yard looking for cushions for the pool lounge chairs, I opened the doors to one of those 8'x8' Rubbermaid sheds you get at Home Depot. Directly in the center of the back wall was a toilet, plumbed and everything. I used it immediately. Kept the door open because it was actually a nice view of palm trees and the mountains. Had my privacy and it was nicely ventilated too.

The officers club at the air base in Abu Dhabi. Every "stall" is a private bathroom with toilet, sink, cushy towels, colognes, etc. Nice comfy seat and top notch paper. Almost seemed too nice for what I was doing in there

My go-to bathroom on the road is now Home Depot, they are always clean and right off the freeway.

Home Depot bathrooms always look like a weekend warrior DYI guy had free reign. Its like an advertisement for the things you can buy at Home Depot.

I’m randomly staying there on Sunday night. I’ll post a backup review along with some pics.

Edit: I meant Saturday night. Forgive me.

Let me know how the room is. I remember when I was over there all the time they were renovating all the rooms floor by floor and I think they are done.

Also, if you are looking for a solid meal, the lamb chop is superb. Also, that bathroom next to the bar is the one that needs visiting.

The Madonna Inn restaurant near San Luis Obispo.  As I recall, louvered doors, giant clam shell basins, brass fixtures, teak wood cabinets.

Plus the cheesecake was divine.
