and no Rhoades, Suarez, or Canning.  I understand the two latter, but I thought they'd call up Rhoades for sure.

We could use a pitcher or two for sure.....

Better put the Arlington area on tornado watch with Blash and his swing nearby.

He's either going to hit a 640 foot homerun or strike out and throw the bat over the left field fence.

The 40-man roster is currently full, by the way, so pretty hard to add anyone.

DFA candidates aren't as clear as you'd expect. Tropeano and Skaggs are the only injured players not on the 60-day, so no one we can move there to open a spot, unless either are hurt more than we thought. Keep in mind, we have a lot of guys on the 60-day who will need to be added back to to the 40-man in the offseason.

No reason to add Canning or Thaiss for September. They've played enough this year, and they aren't Rule V eligible. I can see them waiting on Suarez and Rengifo as well, both are super young and played long seasons, jumping three levels. I doubt a handful of appearances this September would do much for their development or benefit the Angels. Bummed about Walsh and Rhoades though, would have liked to see them get a chance. And they still might. Marte, Blash, EY Jr., all seem like potential DFA candidates, as do Despaigne, Tazawa, Farrell, McGuire, Almonte, even Jesus Castillo.

They're probably better off at this point playing out the guys like Despaigne, Almonte, Farrell, McGuire, and Tazawa and see if any of them stick. Most of these guys have options too, so they may be playing not for a spot on big-league club next year, but just minor league depth as well.

Can we be done with the 1Bman who cant hit lefties....

Marte is going to be gone after this year...I'd rather see how JMF fares against lefties....In the minors this year JMF in 79 ABs slashed .316/.372/..367/..739.   Power not there, but is getting on base.

Why the F### do we still see Blash in the lineup!

It’s him or EYjr, no big deal.

You see it works like this:  People are curious about players they haven't seen before, or they have favorites, or they think someone is going to pop up here and suddenly go crazy hitting (or pitching) and all of the teams'  problems are going to start to disappear.  If some player has disappointed, they want him to go away as it takes too much patience to wait for a possible turnaround.  Then there are the Trout and Ohtani effects, two rare events that might not happen again for many years, but which many are forever hopeful that it might happen again this month.

I'm glad to see Hermosillo back. Hope he does better this time as I'd love to see him as the 4th outfielder next year.

Not sure much has changed, I would only give that one a less than 25% chance of happening.  Would I like it to happen, hell yes!  But I'm very skeptical.
