Good news.  He's one of those guys that has trade value.

that's good news.  He could/should be a big part of the pen, allowing everyone to slide down and hopefully eliminating one of the weaker guys, like Lowe.

 

haha, or what Scott said.  I'm excited about Madson for that reason.  Trade him to Boston in July for a decent pitching prospect or 2.

it's too bad that this team tanked so badly, that when they get healthy and start pitching and hitting, it will already be too late to matter. other than to cost them a high draft pick.
