Good read if I remember correctly did't Kole have a scorching hot ST

.873 OPS for the spring.

He also had 3 hits on opening day including a HR & triple which means that from game 2 until the end of May, he had a slugging pct. of .155

Since coming back on June 18, he's slugged .636

Wooten's tenure in Anaheim (615 at bats), was pretty impressive:

25 doubles, 1 triple, 18 home runs, 84 RBIs.

.281/.322/.413/.735.

Was one of the key bench guys in 2002 in putting up a .773 OPS in 113 at bats, and in the post-season put up an 1.105 OPS in 19 at bats.

What a fantastic article.  I was telling someone yesterday that Calhoun's turn around in a single season has to be the greatest in Angels history.  Now we know it is one of the best in all of baseball since 1950.  Unbelievable.  Great lesson here.  Kole is the man!
