Has anyone talked to Kole, publically, about what has made the difference? Is it just a mental change or is he doing something different? What has he said?

Or was he honestly injured when he went on the DL? I thought that was kind of a bogus DL stint, but maybe not.

I hope he/they have figured it out and can keep him doing it.

An instructor on the farm supposedly had him adjust his swing.   At least, that's what I remember hearing.

Isn't that supposed to be Hinske's job?

I’m sure that there are several components to Calhoun’s resurgence. An important one probably being away from the Angels for a while.

I think maybe the lesson here is that you wait to buy tickets if it’s really important that you see specific players.  I mean, I didn’t know that the Rays selling out was a huge issue.  What’s the crowd going to look like today ? I’m guessing less then 15k.  Lol the cameras make it look like there’s less then 8k. 

It’s sucks that you’re disappointed dude but nobody makes out a line up card thinking about what the fans want.  No one does that it any sport.  Doesn’t really make sense that you feel so personally offended. 

Sorry it didn’t work out for you.  Try and enjoy the game.  You did drive 3 hours.

Scioscia needs to consider winning when filling out the line-up card...the residual benefit goes to the fans.

Trout jammed his wrist, that's a fact...that happened.  Does he push him on the day after the injury, potentially aggravating further,  or does he give him a couple of days off and prevent a DL visit?  

Also, the Rays Stadium's artificial turf is notoriously brutal on visiting player's legs...it was the reason Trout was DH-ing yesterday.  Additionally, Pujols just got his knee drained prior to the All Star game and missed the first three games at Houston coming back from the DL so they are going to save his legs as well hence why is DH0ing today.  

Finally, Ohtani can only DH and, since Pujols is in there today, he's not hitting.

Kole Calhoun batting .211 right now is probably the most incredible thing I’ve seen on an Angels team in the last 5 years.  No joke.  Trout Ohtani and all considered.
