I still feel it would have been worth nabbing him if we had been able to without losing Canning or Adell, and honestly, I may have been convinced to give one up. The rest of our prospects probably didn't have enough buzz yet though. With how fast Adell is developing, I'm not as bummed. Upton, Trout, and Adell could be a very real thing in a year, with Marsh right behind.

For sure. Brew Crew had a great offseason getting Yelich and Cain.

Lorenzo Cain has put up 5.2 WAR in less than 100 games so far this year. He's quietly been one of the most productive players in the game the past 5 years.

It's been an incredible turn-around.

Right now, he's at 0.0 WAR for the season which should give you more context at how bad his start was...

Cain would have been a great fit for us. Only negative would be then we wouldnt have upton. Some will argue thats not a big deal, but aside from trout, hes our only other power bat.
