Swapping Cold Calhoun for 2nd Half Calhoun was the equivalent of a big-splash midseason trade.

Does anyone else think with this power splurge that Calhoun should be batting in the middle of the order?  But then, if he doesn't bat leadoff, who will?

I think you'd be hard-pressed to move him at this point.  Now, if they can only find a 2 hitter that could take off in front of Trout...

Considering his OBP since June 22 being over .400, he has to be in the top part of the order.

Could someone like Ward come to the rescue to take the 2nd spot?   His OBP is really good this season at both AA and AAA.

Calhoun, Ward, Trout, Upton, Ohtani, Simba, Pujols, Briceno/Arcia, Fletcher?

But with his Slugging, he should be batting the in the middle of the order.  Need to get a few guys on base when Calhoun bats.

Update:  .688 OPS

I think I may have to update this thread this weekend. 

Without looking at any stat other than Kole's, his continued dominance is starting to make it seem like a near lock that he's going to be among the top 20 for biggest second half recovery of all time. A 750 OPS rest of way gets him top 8. 800 OPS gets him the worst to best all time crown. 

Continues to be a great story in an otherwise frustrating season.

Incredible, a jump for the ages from .374 to .703 in less than 2 months
