By simply not being a bitch.

Fletch is awesome. I love players like him.

And three people will immediately post, "Valbuena just earned himself two more months of playing time!"

Upton and Fletcher I think are contributors as well.  If post “injury” Kole is real, he isn’t a problem either.  The problem is 1st, 3rd (or 2nd) and catcher.

I think if you can upgrade RF you have to do it. The offense just isn’t cutting it this year, another big bat to protect Trout is sorely needed. Upton was supposed to be that guy but teams have no problem pitching around Trout to get to Upton. If they get Machado for 3rd or something of the sort I think you can go into next year banking on a bounce back from Calhoun.

Because Upton is having a bad season with runners on base.  That won’t continue when most of the rest of his numbers are normal.

I still think a leadoff hitter and another legit MOTO hitter is what drags this offense down

Couldn’t hurt.  I would rather see one or the other, if they trust Fletcher to be the lead off hitter then get the other part.  Then spend the rest on a Keuchel or Corbin type pitcher,

I want them to call up Ward ASAP to see if he is a solution at 3rd. Ideally Ward comes up and continues to hit well, filling the need at 3rd. Then Cozart/Fletcher can cover 2B/UTIF. Also if Thaiss could come up and fill in 1B that leaves tons of minor league depth and money to acquire help for the bullpen/rotation/other offensive needs.
