Felt like looking up Valbuenas splits this season just so I can get an idea of what Mike is thinking, if he is thinking at all. Valbuena's actually worse against RHP than against LHP LOL.

Finally Simmons out of the 2. He was horrible there and the offense was never able to get anything going past the 5 spot in the order. 6 is a great spot for him

Oh and the incompetent FO decided to get rid of Cron in favor of Valbuena (who already sucked).

I think that was a good trade. No one wants Valbuena in their lineup except the opposing pitcher.

there was a lengthy discussion here about this. valbuena can play first and third. cron could only play first. that was probably the main reason why they made the moves they did. also, they could have gotten more for cron than valbuena. didn't we get rengifo in the cron deal? no such talent would have come for luis and his juice.
