!) Raisel iglesias for Jose Suarez and John Swanda

Reason for this trade:

    Us: We get an Elite Closer with 3 more years of control.

   Reds: They get a close to ready MLB stater in Suraez and and  a project in Swanda,  Who has the stuff to be a solid starter. People may be undervaluing Suarez 's stuff and ceiling but he has been on multiple top 100 prospect list and has an higher ceiling than what most people would thing of. 

2) Zach Wheeler for Matt Thaiss 

      Us: We get an cost control starter for the next year, with dominate upside.

     Mets: Looking for Mlb ready Hitters and 1st base has been an hole.

Not bad. Except no guarantee that Ward or Rengifo are able to contribute. Probably have to wait until September to find out. Also, I think Angels will sign a few relievers come winter to help with the bullpen situation.

Yankees are getting some hits on Sonny Gray. Could see the Angels shopping some relievers to NYY and targeting Gray.

Send a couple RP to NYY, a couple RP to ATL for a SP prospect, and rebuild the pen this winter. Would have some rotation depth to work with.

DeGrom. Not Adell, but any other combinations of prospects. 

 

After seeing how they screwed up the Familia trade, the Angels should throw in dollars to facilitate the trade.

Go affter Gaussman from the orioles. looks like they are having a fire sale

 

Mets trade won't work their top prospect in AAA is a 1B

If we can get Gray for the right price, I would do that trade. 

I've always liked Gaussman and felt he could succeed with us.

I think both Rengifo and Ward have a good chance to succeed.
