I start to have doubt about Mike Scioscia credentials also in 2002, back then he had joe maddon and bud black, the success of joe maddon with Tampa Bay and currently with Chicago Cubs tells me that he might have been the real deal and not mike Scioscia ! the team might be cursed alltogether, things are not right since they changed the name from Anaheim to Los Angeles, who knows ?

The curse opinion is not a science of course and it is hard to prove, I need to do some research and check the record before and after the name change, but if the record deteriorated since the name change so the Angels might have a real issue, an unseen problem.

stradling, I said clearly that the curse opinion is not a science, it doesn’t backed up with facts. nevertheless, here are the Angeles records since 2005 the year which they changed the name.

                   2005/record was 95-67                     2011/ record was 85-77

                    2006/ record was 89-73                   2012/ record was 89-73

                     2007/ record was 84-78                   2013/ record was 78-84

                     2008/ record was 100-62                2014/ record was 98-64

                      2009/ record was 97-65                 2015/ record was 85-77

                     2010/ record was 80-82.                 2016/ record was 74-88

                                                                                 2017/record was 80-82

After the 2005 season the Angels had only 3 years with more than 90 wins, and the last 3 years is getting extremely ugly, yea a curse is possible, I don’t have a sure way to prove it so don’t start to argue with me over that but it is a possibility.

It’s impossible to prove a nonsense curse opinion.

If your understanding of baseball does not comprehend this than we will just have to agree to disagree. We are all on the same team.

Coming from the guy who said Shohei should not hit the day before he pitches because the opposing pitcher might break his hand.... brilliant logic!.

What you do not seem to understand is that it only takes one team to bank on Richards being healthy and rolling the dice.

People who actually do this for a living. Who know a sh..... ton more than you have time and time again have said that the DH alone will cause a pitcher's ERA to go up .5 to a full run.

It's funny how some fans sitting on there fat ass on the couch at home can look at Blash's swing and for sure say that he will not hit MLB pitching.

And I agree with Back the Truck 18 at bats is not enough of a sample size..... anyone that says different is showing off that they have never played the game.

Just wanted to say a quick Thank You... & how proud I am of the Angels members that this was the 1st post I have been involved in where everyone got along. No one was freaking out when I suggested that MLB hitters should use the whole field when they hit. Or a MLB hitter should know how to bunt. Or NL pitchers have a lower ERA because there is no DH.

Good job everybody!!! Let's all keep it up. This is the world we should live in.

you are the biggest, hypocritical, whiny martyr this board has ever seen .

Jesus, Kevin, quit quoting yourself then answering it. It's Facking serial killer creepy.

Sometimes you just gotta talk to yourself to find the answers. Don’t tell me at your ripe old age of 21 you never talk to yourself. Because that’s not true we both know it :0)

Why did everyone troll this post? I thought it was pretty funny. Maybe one of the funniest baseball-only posts on here.

my favorite part is that Morris was doubting Scioscia's credentials while we were winning a World Series
