Upton looks like a guy that cashed in and doesn't care anymore.  I stated when the Angels signed him that I wasn't sold on him and so far, I am right sadly.

Quickly now. Has there ever been a greater waste of money across two players than Upton and Pujols? About 48 million total for them this year.

I guess maybe last year when we were still paying Hamilton 26 mil to play for Texas and Albert was earning 26 mil.

Upton is turning into another albatross. How do we keep doing this?

Well if we’re going to do this we might as well point out that Upton will be about a 3.5-4 WAR player this year, and this year is making only $16 million.

Trout is a career .307 hitter before his prime with a power profile. That number figures to go up from here. Whereas JMF is in his prime at doesn't figure to be aiming for even a fraction of the power Trout has as much as he's looking to get on base.

The way I see it, .290 is a fair guess for Fernandez.
