Marte was a powerful 2 for 14 (both singles), with 2 walks in his triumphant return in A+ ball. Looking forward to his surely massive contributions.

Ohtani has an OPS of .399 against LHP this season. Of course, the guy hitting 5th has an OPS of .460 against lefties and that doesn't EVER keep him out of the lineup.

Basically, Marte is replacing Ohtani.

I'll take that with Ohtani hitting .125 against lefties and striking out about a third of the time. He will be ready if the M's switch over to a rightie at any point.

I think this is the best lineup Sosh has right now, against a leftie. And I think it's well constructed. He moved Calhoun down in the order, but didnt let him sit and have a chance to cool off.

Weak take. 

He has a 108 OPS+ this year.

He has a .295/.326/.591 slash line against LHP.

Mang is the guy that shouldn't be in the lineup, but that's sadly not happening yet.

Blash has been sent back to AAA. Marte and Fletcher are the OF replacements as well as IF replacements.
