....If you're looking for bullpen depth, here it is, for free reeves basically.

If he is DFA, you could potentially have competition for a trade within the 10 day window....would suspect that will be the case....

Yeah his ERA is a fluke but the Angels can ride the fluke til the end of the season & then dump him.

Like how they should have traded Bridwell after his value reached the highest it would ever be.

Bridwell never had trade value. Teams looked at his peripherals and saw that they screamed regression. I don’t know where this thing started where Bridwell had any trade value, pitchers like him are a dime a dozen

Bridwell's peripherals at age 25: 121 IP, 1.20 WHIP, 8.6 H9, 1.4 HR9, 2.2 BB9, 5.4 K9
Jon Garland's periphs at age 25: 221 IP, 1.17 WHIP, 8.6 H9, 1.4 HR9, 1.9 BB0, 4.7 K9

Garland was an All-Star that year, and finished 6th in Cy Young voting. He'd go on to win 72 more games, start 183 more games, accumulate nearly 12 WAR, and make $45m.
In that time, he consistently allowed a hit an inning, a HR every 9 innings, a BB9 of 2.7, and a K9 of 4.8. He was worth Orlando Cabrera in a trade once too.

Peripherals never tell the whole story. He'd be a cheap back of the rotation arm for most clubs, and a decent one, so long as he didn't face Oakland more than 2-3 times a year...

Pretty sure the Angels had plenty of bats and balls already.
