Bullpen not clutch at all

Recommended Posts

It almost seems like our bullpen pitches WAY worse in close games but pitches well when the game is out of hand whether winning or losing.... Like they have no clutch in them at all. Is it just a mental block or what? It's frustrating because you almost expect that they will blow close games. Meanwhile teams like the Yankees, Red Sox and Mariners all seem to have dominant closers and we have.... Parker??? Last night was a perfect example... we win 7-1 and our bullpen does great the final 4 innings, meanwhile in the series vs the A's and Mariners the week before the pen was choking in close games it seemed like every night.
