Valbuena lifetime OPS is .708.

He gets 11 years in the bigs with that performance.

Random comparison. . .Dallas McPherson is permanently marked as one of the greatest busts in Angel history and he put up OPS of .754, .744, and .776 over parts of three seasons.

He ended up playing 139 games in the majors with .738 lifetime OPS.

Injury ruined him, not talent.  I don't mind people being let down about his career, but we should be fair to him.  He was not a "bust" talent or performance wise.  His back basically fell apart.

He doesn't belong in any conversation about "busts" like Brandon Wood. . . (And nobody pulled for Brandon Wood more than me, but he is fairly labeled a bust).

Come full circle.  If people think McPherson was a joke, why do we tolerate Valbuena who legitimately sucks?

I dont care if Cozart is out for the season.  Cut Valbuena and make a move for a functional player.
