Yes, here we are.  Eppler decided not to spend on the BP this off-season and it was one of the worst decisions he has made.

If Logan is the only type of move Eppler is willing to make, this team is in serious trouble.

Actually, if we could get Britton and Barraclough I'd be a happy camper. 

In the meantime, can we DFA Valbuena and move JMF over there or use Fletcher. Promote Thaiss (he's on a tear and showing tremendous power).

Considering he pursued Herrera, I don't think we need to worry. 

We need a couple arms. If Logan comes free/cheap, he's worth a shot. Eppler has hit on pitching a lot more than he's missed. 

The downside to being frugal is that some of them don't pan out - he pretty much batted 1.000 last year, and it's catching up this year. Overall, he has a good record still, and I'd rather give him a longer leash to find that value, even if it means a few stinkers along the way.

Two relievers with that much control would cost a huge chunk of the farm for an awful lot of risk. I can’t see Eppler breaking that far from his standard operating procedure.
