It’s been discussed on here but I’m not if you’ve read those threads, but this is Scioscia’s last year of his contract.

My neighbor plays Xbox with someone who lives down the street from Scioscia.He heard that Mike is working on a 5 year deal,that way he can pass Walter Alston's 23 years managing one team
