Mike Scioscia just managed an incredible game.

I planned on turning the game on at 930 (had shit to do). Oops.

I see one hit and look to see which relievers to thank for holding the lead. None. Weird.

Look to see who got the single RBI, none. Weird.

Check errors to see how KC screwed up giving us our win, none. Weird.

Figure MLB box score is wrong, not weird.

Check again now, see the steal of home, yeah, weird.

Sad I missed this one.

Scioscia did a great job tonight. Heaney was in full control and the walk that he issued late in the game was a result of a very close pitch. In like every other instances, he would have taken Heaney out right there and went to the dreaded bullpen. On top of that, Pujols not being in the lineup tonight was also a great thing!

How can you say that puljos being out of the line up is a “great thing.” We scored only one freaking run without him. He has 8 RBI’s in the last 9 games he has played. He has been heating up and is on pace for like 90+ RBI’s. At this point he is one of the only run producers in this lineup. We are most definitely a better run producing team when he is in the lineup. WE NEED TO AQUIRE ANOTHER BIG BAT BEFORE THE DEADLINE.  But we are also a better team when puljos is in the lineup.
