I think Cozart and Valbuena will do well against a sinkerball pitcher. For what it's worth, they both have good career numbers vs. Fister, and Simmons does not. Hopefully Simmons will pinch hit if necessary.

Genius.

Val-Bueno.

About Valbuena... not every player is going to be an all star or even league average for that matter. Every team has some guy(s) like this. Its unrealistic to think you aren't going to have players like this on the team.

Baseball is hardly as taxing on the body as football, basketball, and hockey. Whatever happened to celebrating Cal Ripken Jr. for playing every single day?

While I agree with football, basketball is debatable. Fast breaks and driving to the basket are a lot of energy. The minute to minute action isnt too bad, though. Swinging the bat and running out a hit isnt far off from a fast break.

And baseball is twice as long...longer with spring, winter ball, etc.

The cutting and direction changing in basketball is extremely hard on your joints.

Plus, those guys jump almost every single time down the court.
