That won’t happen, unless Cozart or Kinsler get hurt.  The question is can he perform with the bat as a utility player.  Most young guys can’t.

Cowart seems to be a decent enough AAA hitter. The problem is this is the major leagues.

We also have a couple good Little League hitters who will remain unnamed.

Have always rooted for him to succeed. But he has always underwhelmed, nice glove and all. I wish we’d stop giving him chances in favor of JMF/Fletcher. He could probably go to a rebuilding team cutting salary and get some consistent reps, pressure/expectation free.

For the role they are asking of him it can’t be Fletcher.   Maybe it can be JMF.

I think I figured out another reason why he was brought up.   With Cozart hurt enough to not play, we had no one on the team who could play SS.   My guess is after the spike Simmons took they thought it’s a good idea to bring someone up as an insurance policy.
