Ohtani's fastball was hyped as this 100mph dominant pitch, but fangraphs wrote how it's not really a swing and miss pitch bc it doesn't rise. 

Hitters just don't seem to be scared of that pitch compared to a Chapman/Kimbrel type fastball

It could be worse. The Orioles have 12 hits so far today, and the Red Sox have made an error but they still have not scored a run.

Agreed, it's not ideal, we need Upton and at least one of Cozart and Kinsler to produce to be a true contender. Just don't want Simmons to be underappreciated!

I like this idea of using a closer to start games against the top of the order. Would really work for the Angels, Cam seems like an ideal candidate.
