A case for David Fletcher if Kinsler continues to suck

Agreed. Im not expecting miracles, but i think he'll hit "enough". And his defense is a plus, and seems like hes liked in the clubhouse.

The espinoza comps are fair, but we should have enough offense to mask him better.

Id like to see cozart in front of trout some more though. And while im an upton fan, id like to see ohtani hit behind trout for a bit. See if trout on 1B (plus his speed) can open the right side up a bit. Ohtani seems pretty good at contact pulling.

I'm thinking Fernandez or Cowart get the call before Fletcher simply because they are older.  Basically now or never time for both.

I'm with Rico on this one. I can't see Cowart being passed over by either Fletcher or JMF.

Historically, he's been pretty good.  Especially for 2nd basemen numbers. 

Last year he hit 22 homers even though there was a significant dropoff in average to 232 from his 270 career average.

I actually don't get why this guy is leading off though because he doesn't hit for average or walk alot and doesn't seem to have blazing speed.  Seems like he should be a 6-7-8 guy not leadoff.

I think the Rockies are using Albuquerque, also a high altitude spot. I’m sure they’d prefer Colorado Springs
