Different circumstances, but I remember Erv got booted to AAA right before his option expired as well I think, so there is a little bit of precedence during Sosh's tenure for a vet to go to AAA for a reboot.

This team needs Calhoun to figure it out in the long run. It's too early to give up entirely on him, because if he can turn it around to even last years level he is still the best RF option in the organization. 

He either needs to be sent down to gain some confidence hitting against worse pitching or keep playing him. Sitting him on the bench doesn't do much IMO

Trout was unable to play during Spring Training due to the flu and was sent to Triple A after the Angels broke camp to get into playing shape. In the meantime every effort was made to trade Abreu for a sack of Cheetos but no team wanted him so they cut him.

It had not a fucking thing to do with Scioscia holding him back, the first day Trout joined the team he played. 

Now quit saying stupid shit to push your stupid agenda, please.

No Calzone, why would they?   He’s off to a slow horrid start.   When Abreu was here we had Trout in the wings, now we have something called Jabari Blash.   He was over a 2 WAR player last year, so he earned his contract.
