I also doubt that even with an admission or some other indisputable evidence the Angels would move to void the contract.  It’s a pointless issue.

Might give the team a little leverage if /when the buy out discussions inevitably are had.

What's it matter anymore. He's an Angel. He's here a couple more years. I don't care if he's 50 doesn't change anything. Guy has a 744 OPS I am actually more impressed the older people say he is. As long as he helps the Angels win which he has of late that's all that matters. Once the playoff rolls around his experience will help the young guys.
