Angels sensation Shohei Ohtani continues to amaze.

He didn’t do that from the mound in Friday’s game against the Yankees, but he did do something that is unique to him, that no other pitcher in the league could pull off.

Ohtani came to the plate in the second inning of the game, and he hit a 97.1 mph fastball from Luis Severino into the stands.

Throw 101 MPH one day of the week, hit a HR a few days later.

that was on the inside part of the plate btw.  A pitch he's not supposed to be able to hit.

Its what Ohtani does if he doesn’t have a blister or twisted ankle. Should I be concerned that I’m starting to wonder how fragile he is?

Blisters are somewhat common place for pitchers, and he even said it’s calloused now and shouldn't be an issue going forward. 

The ankle is a little more uncertain.    Hoping it was just one of those fluke things, and not an indicator
