But since that was 1960 it's all just dusty old history. 

 

What the Halos accomplished in 1962 (2nd season) was stupid good.    No 2nd year team in any expansion era did anything close to 86 wins in their 2nd season, until the D-Backs did it in 1999 with a lot of help from FA acquisitions.    The 1962 Halos couldn't draw upon that at all.
