Ohtani now favorite to win AL MVP

On Monday, BetDSI Sportsbook posted updated odds to win the American League MVP race. While the race is still early, a new favorite has emerged. 
 
Shohei Ohtani began the season with 100/1 odds at BetDSI to win AL Most Valuable Player. After his torrid start, the Japanese star currently has +150, or 3/2, odds to win the award at season’s end.

Still want to take it at the same pace plotted out before the season.    Still only Sundays pitching throughout 2018, and hitting 8th regularly except for day before, day pitching, and day after.    Then for the hitting, if still hitting well come June 1, then move him up in the order.

Ok, just for the fun of it, what stats do you all think Ohtani needs to win an MVP? Would it be enough if he was exceptional in pitching, but just "good" in batting? Would the voters rate him more "valuable" because of his 2-way play? What do you think his stats need to look like to beat Trout and his typical stellar performance?

It should depend on how others do, IMO.

Of course considering that Miguel Cabrera won his MVP simply for achieving something as rare as the triple crown, it would seem that Ohtani has already got it locked up.
