was wondering why he was throwing 91/92.  The pulled Barria after 2ip.  Presumably because of the aforementioned and not an injury.

Zach Houchins pitched for the SLC bees tonight btw.

I saw there was a rain delay during the bottom of the 2nd in the Bees game. I assume that's why Barria was done after 2

I vote for Tropeano. it looks like the stem cell, and PRP injections didn't work so well for JC.

The stem cell and PRP injections were for his elbow ligaments I think, it sounds like this is forearm tightness.  I am not a doctor, maybe someone with more medical expertise can comment on this being related to last season's injury?

This has Tommy John written all over it, he tried to avoid the Tommy John last year and any time you hear forearm tightness it’s bad.

Hopefully Barria is ready to contribute soon he is much needed depth, Heaney and Tropeano are going to have to cover the rotation spots of Shoemaker and Ramirez.

Gotta start wondering if they're trying too much to avoid TJS, and if opting for injections or if they're focusing on other diagnoses first (like Richards' and Shoemaker's nerve problems, which don't seem too common for MLB pitchers) when these guys would have been better off getting TJS in the first place.

I get it if they think they're onto finding an alternative path to healing/treating pitchers with forearm pain rather than immediately opting for a TJS, which seems to be a problem, but starting to think it might not be working.
