Woooo Jones with a start.

I actually like this compressed spring schedule that's resulting in several games in a row for the depth to get regular playing time.

Scribner is the forgotten man on the 40-man too. I don't think I've seen his name once in any thread this offseason in regards to pitching depth.

I had to really see it to believe it, but I'm finally seeing why Eppler didn't really pursue any SP.

If the following seven of Ohtani, Richards, Shoemaker, Skaggs, Heaney, Ramirez, and Bridwell can't make a six-man rotation work...we still have Tropeano, Barria, Lamb, Castillo, Jewell, and Scribner.

The DL PTSD had scarred me.

I’m rooting for Cron. I always like seeing our former players do well. He was like Howie though. He crushes bad pitching in spring training then does nothing once the season comes along.

Ive always liked Lamb. I’m hoping he can perform well enough to make the team

did you write that Howie does nothing during the season?  He's got 30 WAR for his career and career .291 avg.

Rymer Liriano is impressing me this spring. He looks collected and capable of putting together good ABs.

Blash looks like a mess. Impressive power potential but otherwise looks like he could get stuck in AAAA purg.

All these faceguards on the batting helmets...are they testing something out for the league, or did all of these guys suddenly decide to wear them?

Jose Pirela is someone I wish Eppler could acquire. He'd be a perfect fit as our last position player.

2 WAR last year, .288/.347/.490/.830 with a 122 OPS+, playing mostly LF and 2B, but also RF, 3B, and 1B.
In 83 games, 25 doubles, 4 triples, 10 home runs.

Cowart is sucking hind ... tit. I a Matt Thaiss fan but really.

Kaleb still has edge for UT IF spot and it's very, very, very early...but he certainly isn't helping himself so far.

If Marte keeps hitting, Angels will try to keep him, and Walsh is certainly making it interesting so far.

You may be right but I think the Angels are more offensive minded this season.
