And to be fair what has jimmy done this season with his arm? He hasn’t been asked to put the team in his back and carry them. Maybe both games against Arizona ?

their run game has been sooo good he doesn’t have to. Just waiting for the game he has to really step and put the team on his back and carry them to a win. He might not have to

last night he was 6/8 for 77 yards lol

When you have a team defense that is in the top five and a rushing attack that is #2, you do not need a QB to throw...Both the Vikings and the Packers knew what was coming and the couldnt stop it....The 9ers throw a pass with 2:10 left in the 2nd quarter, and didnt throw the next pass until about 9 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Against NO in week 14 he helped get the offense 63 yards in 53 seconds to set up the game winning FG but Kittle deserves a lot of credit for a huge play on the drive.  Against the Rams in week 16 he took the offense 60 yards in the final 2:30 completing passes of 18 and 46 yards to set up the game winning FG.  He's not a top 10 QB but when they needed him to make some big throws or get the offense down the field he seems to have gotten it done and led 4 game winning drives during the regular season.  As far as the NFC championship game like HaloNArizona said when you're running all over your opponent you don't need to pass except on maybe a third down or to take a shot down the field to keep the defense on their toes.  He's been what the Niners needed him to be this year with the strength of their defense and that's a game manager who can make a  big throw when needed.  Against KC if it turns into a high scoring or quick scoring game he'll likely have to throw more so we may get a chance to see if he can get it done with his arm on the biggest stage.
