Bill Hall? X-Factor?

What are your guy's thoughts on Bill Hall? I think he was a very valuable pickup. Pretty good hitter with some pop and can play pretty much any position besides Pitcher and Catcher.

 

And with all these interleague games coming up, he could turn out to be a very valuable late inning pinch hitter. The only problem is finding a spot for him.

I like the guy. I think he brings depth and versatility to the team

And he went 2-4 in that Spring Training game with 2 Doubles and 4 RBI'S. Our bench right now should consist of Wells, Conger, and Hall. Just my opinion.

I'm not getting excited about Hall. He hasn't done anything at the major league level recently for a reason. I'd be surprised if he got 100 AB's

Still too early, this could just be a little hot streak. Let's see how it plays out this next month when he's playing a bit less and the starters are getting more at bats.

Well he is an X factor cuz if he comes back hard for one year he can be a huge factor for us!! Guy has history of striking out alot but hits homers. Hopefully he can cutdown the strikeouts and make it!!

I like his pop, but MS is gonna want a legit middle infielder and with Vernon and a backup catcher, that leaves one spot so it's unlikely that he makes it.

I think he has a good chance to make the team. Some pop and versatility off the bench would be really nice to have, especially considering how thin our bench is.

Obviously it's going to come down to how they feel about his bat, but I think the fact that he's the only guy in the bench competition who can play some INF(even if that's only 2B, 3B and possibly 1B) along with some OF if needed gives him a little something there with the makeup of the roster. 

 

I'm not sure carrying another pure outfielder in addition to Vernon(who is already behind a couple guys) makes a lot of sense, and I really don't think carrying 2 of the backup SS guys(Romine/Field/Harris/Rodriguez) does either.

I'm rooting for him.  I like the versatility and he seems to be the only one really locked-in at the plate so far.... And, apparently he's super talented at everything..

Uh-oh... Hall just left the game.. Looks like an upper-leg injury.  Was leaning down to pick-up a slow-roller kinda awkwardly.
