Pretty much all the Saudi aircrew that train in Pensacola or other American facilities end up in my simulator. They’re among the best they have. Generally smart and well educated, able to engage in thoughtful conversation and eager to tell tales about their love of fast food and how they were introduced to actual enforcement of traffic laws.  Even then, going to the US can be a big culture shock to them and the biggest difference is in the expectation that they work hard and make no excuses. There’s a ton of pressure on these kids to succeed and excel. It doesn’t surprise me that one would eventually snap. I’ll see what the rumor mill puts out this week

I thought of you when I heard about this and wondered if you maybe knew him.

Nice how 2 concealed carry permit holders dropped a would be mass shooter at that Texas church today.

That's fucking awesome.

What's that, 1 for 41? That's just a Napoli slump. They'll be 6 out of 10 before the year's over.

Two things need to be noted here:  The rednecks who mowed this guy down we’re part of the church’s security group and they were already watching this guy because of his behavior before he started firing.  But if it keeps your chub to imagine random, gun-toting, red-blooded Christian Americans rising from the pews  to mow down this sinner in unison, go ahead.

my sister in law's church in Bakersfield has at least one armed elder on duty during every service. there are a few who are armed but that info is unknown to the congregation during any given Sabbath service.

I know it's popular among many evangelicals to support God, country, and guns, but I find great spiritual conflict in this that I just haven't been able to resolve.

There is an ever increasing amount of violence targeted at places of worship. People in those places need to be prepared to defend them.
