Just waking up to this. A girl ive dated off and on for awhile was at the concert, eith a few other friends of mine. Nobody answering their phone...hoping they are all asleep...

Check Facebook. A friend of mine was at the concert and has posted an update on Facebook that she is ok.

One of them posted that shes ok, and some people saw her on CNN. Im hoping if anyone else in their group was hurt she would have said something. The girl im closest with doesnt have FB, just IG, last pic is them at the concert

Horrible news to wake up to. Love that city. But of any location. This was kind of inevitable. 

News is saying the ass was going through a divorce. But probably just rumor.

Absolutely terrible.  Someone I know was posting pictures from the festival I believe on Friday or Saturday and hopefully she was gone by last night as I'm guessing she was due to having to work today.

Fully automatic rifle?! How the hell do you get something like that?! The killer lived with his wife in a retirement community. No criminal record, maybe a traffic ticket. WTH?!?!

And hopefully all our Vegas members and their friends and family are safe. Concert had 20k people at the it. 

My buddy from Vegas just texted me to say he was ok. The rumor going through the locals is that it may have been a high roller sick of losing.

The woman he was living with was out of the country. She may be able to help LEOs piece together what he was going through and why he would have done. 

ABC has talked to the shooters' brother who said this was like "an asteroid had landed on the family." They can't point to anything for why he would have done this.

You can walk into almost any gun show and get what you need to convert a rifle to fully automatic.  Also, unless the laws have changed Montana and Wyoming used to allow sale of them.

My buddies fiancee was there with some cops she works with (hes fire, had to work this weekend), 2 from her work were hit.

I was at first wondering how the hell he could walk rifles in to a casino. But then i guess there isnt a law against it (if theyre cased).

Sounds like his girlfriend works there, and he may have used her key card to get in. Figure most of the hotels there would be sold out for the weekend for the concert.

One of the girls i know there was interviewed on CNN. Shes a nurse so she tried to help but said she had to run. Had blood on her in the interview. Sad as hell.

The Ex that lives in So Cal has been divorced from the Doosh for 25+ years.  Hasn't talked to him in decades.  Obviously, doesn't want to talk to the media, but the media will still hound.

The wife (or girlfriend?) is out of the country, but is returning and will be questioned by authorities. She was described as a "person of interest" but is apparently cooperating with law enforcement.

My best employee was there.

Tonight has definitely taught me a lot about myself. We were in the area of the active shooter... while I'm not sure if the people round me are okay, L, K and C are all safe. I had blood on my body but it wasn't mine and Kevin got me out safe. The moment was mortifying, one moment we were watching music, the next the stage went dark and you just heard rounds of fire coming at you. All we could do was run and run.

Handguns i can see sneaking in. But 10 rifles, in rifle cases, someone would see. But again, no law (unless the hotel says no, not sure). But if this guy says hes there for a gunshow, went hunting etc etc, no one would probably say anything.
