This is very close to where I went to college. We used to go to Calistoga to meet up before going to play hockey in Santa Rosa. A lot of natural hot springs and really nice restaurants in this sleepy little town.

I want to add it was called mile high trail. 

Good thing I went Thanksgiving day as I woke up to snow.

Couldn't have climbed the rocks with ice on them.

Funny you would say that.  Went hiking today.  Probably shouldn't have.  But did it anyways.  Trail was covered in ice.  I fell once hard.  It'll be interesting to see how the video turned out.

Ice is very dangerous when hiking or driving.

No comment.  But there were other hikers on the trail.

One other note.  So was hiking down the peak.  And of course, I'm watching every step I make.  I look over in the snow.  And find a brand new Leatherman.  I'm too poor and cheap to pay for a real tool like this, so I am kind of stoked.

Hiked Heritage trail in Laughlin this morning. About 5.75 miles. That is Davis dam. Spillover in the front and the electric turbines on the side. You can see where the wires originate and get sent out. 

The dam forms Lake Mohave. 

Some nice rock formations. 

Tree of life where people leave rocks for the lost loved ones from cancer.

Though the two planets will appear spectacularly close together on the sky's dome now, Jupiter and Saturn are actually 456 million miles (734,000 million km) apart. Saturn is nearly twice as far away as Jupiter.
