Angels starters on the team: One Year Wonders?

I noticed something about a lot of the starters on the Angels right now. A lot of them up to this point has had at least a couple of years to pitch a decent amount of innings in their careers but only have put up just one good season. Richards, Shoemaker, Chavez, and. Nolasco.  Knowing how shaky the starting rotation for the Angels is, I think the Angels would be close to being the best team in the American League if they had 2014 Richards and Shoemaker, 2008 Nolasco, and 2014 Chavez. And I know Richards can be great but outside of 2014, he has been a disappointment in the years that he got a chance to pitch a decent amount of innings (2013 and 2015) or been hurt like last year and this year. He still has great potential and can still put up more than one good year but at this point, I don't think it is out of the question that you can't somewhat say he isn't a one year wonder. I know, it sounds funny but........check this out:

2014 Richards: 13-4, 2.61 ERA, 1.04 WHIP

2014 Shoemaker: 16-4, 3.04 ERA, 1.07 WHIP

2008 Nolasco: 15-8, 3.52 ERA, 1.10 WHIP

2014 Chavez: 8-8, 3.45 ERA, 1.31 WHIP

Basically you have 1 great starting pitcher and 3 solid starting pitchers.

Shoemaker had 2 relatively good years if you look at ERA, ERA+, FIP, and WHIP. In 2016 he just wasn't given any runs to work with.
