I'm watching the today's game right now.  More background noise than anything else, but my ears perk up a bit when Jose talks and there's a pause.  This means Jose is cooking up a Jose Mota-ism...

My favorite was the other day he was rambling about "Oye" because one of the pitchers had a similar pronunciation. It turned into some 5 minute ramble with fake laughs from Terry about what oye means in Spanish and how players use it. Just ridiculous.

He's just doing some ST games. Langston will be working with a Terry Smith this year. I'm pretty sure Mota is going to be doing the pre and or post game show on FSW.

Just flipped on today's game (DVR action).  I'm all of one minute in, watching the pre-game whereupon we find Terry Smith and Jose interviewing bench coach Rob Picciolo.  The topic is Spring Training...Fire away, Jose!

 

"It's been a different one, so into your planning, tell me what went (pause) when you saw the big roster and you saw all the pitchers coming in, some guys who needed to leave into comparing to other spring trainings."

 

God bless Picciolo for giving an answer to whatever the hell that was.
